HBO has an obvious advantage over network television.

While some networks can show pretty graphic sex, violence and drug use (FX Networks, which airs The Shield and Nip/Tuck), they have to worry about so much more than HBO does.

I don't think it seems quite fair to compare an HBO based program like The Sopranos with CSI.

you have a favorite show that you want to win all the categories it is in, and if it doesn't do well against the competition, then you are going to think the show was bad.

Now if your favorite show won across the board then you are going to have a different impression of what you watched - you are going to think it was the best show you have seen.

Simple human perceptions intermixed with emotions.

As said previously, my favorite part of the Emmys was when Joely Richardson and Kiefer Sutherland came out on stage together. [img]cool.gif[/img]

Wow... I can't believe how many shows i've never seen, or even heard of! I've only actually seen 3 of those titles...2 from comedy central, and one from fox... and i don't feel like i've missed a thing... [img]smile.gif[/img]
